Due to the outbreak of Covid 19, the shop has had to change it's hours of opening and work with reduced numbers of volunteers, since most of our volunteers are older people and some are in the 'at risk' groups. The shop days are shorter and we will shut for lunch at 12noon until 2pm. [...]

Home Deliveries during the COVID-19 Crisis In conjunction with Norton, Thurlton and Thorpe Good Neighbour Scheme, the shop is organising deliveries to those who are vulnerable and self-isolating. To arrange a delivery: Phone 0755 55 161 88 Monday to Saturday 9 am to 12 noon.

As of 12/03/2018 the Thurlton Community Store belongs to US! That is the CIC and it's shareholders.   Now we just have the knotty problems of fixing the leaks and modernising the premises. We are looking for about £30,000 pounds for a new roof, plumbing, electrics and joinery to give you a village shop to [...]

Good People of Norton, Thurlton and Thorpe. Thurlton Community Shop invites you to a wine tasting by Adnam's of Southwold. Saturday 4th November between 1pm and 4pm. Come and taste fine wines with no obligation to buy (Though you can if you want!)

Jimmy’s Party

The village celebrates together each Summer at Jimmy's Garden Party. All proceeds go to the upkeep of the Methodist Chapel in Norton Subcourse. Come on down on Friday evening, next week, for live music and BBQ and interesting local stalls.
